Our Story
Nexus False Ceiling was founded to address a common gap in the Bangalore market — inconsistent quality, poor finishing, and lack of transparency in ceiling and partition work.
The founding team's family has been working in this industry since 2005, executing projects for architects and builders long before residential clients had access to the same level of expertise. Those early years were spent learning the trade from the inside — understanding what quality really means, what causes failures, and what separates genuine craftsmanship from routine work.
Building on this strong foundation, Nexus False Ceiling was formally established in 2018 to provide complete end-to-end solutions directly to customers — with better quality control, structured execution, and reliable service.
Since 2018, Nexus has completed over 500 projects across Bangalore — from compact 2BHK apartments to large commercial spaces and villas. Each project carries the same commitment: professional execution, transparent communication, and a finish quality that stands behind a warranty of up to 15 years.
What We Stand For
Four principles that decide every call we make on a job site.
-
Quality Without Compromise
We use Saint-Gobain, Armstrong, and USG Boral materials because they hold up. We use experienced installers because details matter. There is no second tier of project — every job is run to the same standard, whether it's a single bedroom or a full villa.
-
Transparency at Every Step
Itemised quotes. Fixed timelines, in writing. Material brand and grade specified before the work starts. If something changes mid-project — and occasionally it does — we tell you why, what it costs, and how it affects the schedule. No surprises billed at handover.
-
Craft Over Speed
A ceiling that's installed in 5 days but cracks within 18 months has cost the client nothing but trouble. We work to a realistic schedule that respects drying times, sanding cycles, and finishing standards. The ceiling you live with for 15 years deserves an extra two days now.
-
Long-Term Relationships
Our written warranty isn't a marketing line — it's an obligation we honour. Touch-ups during the warranty period are free. Calls about a fixture or a repaint two years later are answered. Many of our projects come from past clients sending their friends — that's the metric we trust.
In Partnership With Nexus Living Hub
Nexus False Ceiling operates in partnership with Nexus Living Hub — a wider interior solutions practice with showroom space and an extended catalogue of materials, finishes, and design references.
What this means for clients: when a project calls for more than a ceiling — flooring, wall finishes, modular furniture, or a coordinated design vision — that capability is available without needing to find and brief a second contractor. For most ceiling-only projects, nothing changes. For larger fit-outs, the partnership saves clients the work of stitching specialists together.
The partnership also gives clients a physical reference point. The Nexus Living Hub showroom on the Sarjapur–Marathahalli Road carries material samples, finished panels, and design references — useful for clients who want to see materials in person before signing off.
How We Work — The Full Process
From the first phone call to the final handover, every project moves through these six steps. Most residential jobs complete in 4 to 14 days, depending on scope.
- Day 1, free
Free Site Visit and Consultation
A specialist visits your space, takes measurements, listens to what you want, and answers questions. We talk through the room conditions, your design preferences, lighting plans, and intended use. There is no charge for this visit and no obligation to proceed.
- Within 2–3 days of visit
Design and Concept Discussion
If you don't already have a design, we share ceiling layouts that suit your room dimensions, lighting plan, and design brief. If you do have a designer, we work to their drawings exactly. This step is a conversation — you tell us what you like, we propose options, we refine until you're confident.
- Before work begins
Material Selection and Finalisation
You choose the material brand and grade — Saint-Gobain Gyproc, USG Boral, Armstrong, or whichever brand best fits the system and your specification preferences. Material specs are written into the quotation: brand, board thickness, framing brand, finish grade. Nothing about materials is left vague before signing.
- 1–2 weeks before start
Project Scheduling
Start date, end date, and key milestone dates are confirmed in writing. Material delivery is scheduled. We coordinate with your electrician and any other contractors so that ceiling work, electrical work, and lighting installation happen in the right sequence. Your time is committed; ours is too.
- 4–14 working days, typically
Professional Installation
The specialist team executes on the agreed timeline. Site stays clean — protective sheets on floors and furniture, daily clean-up, materials stored neatly. Progress updates are shared so you always know what's happening that day. We work around any constraints the building imposes (lift access, working hours, security clearances) and keep moving without surprises.
- Final day
Quality Check and Handover
A final inspection walk-through with you. Touch-ups if anything needs them. The site is fully cleaned and reset. You receive a written warranty document specifying the system, the materials used, and the warranty period — up to 15 years on select systems. The space is yours, finished and ready.

The Brands We Build With
We don't keep a long list of material suppliers. We use the few brands we trust — and we put them in writing on every quote.
-
Saint-Gobain Gyproc
France-headquartered, with manufacturing in India for decades. Their gypsum boards set the benchmark for residential and commercial ceiling work in Bangalore — straighter sheets, denser cores, and more dimensionally stable than unbranded alternatives. Used on most of our gypsum projects.
-
Armstrong
The global standard for grid ceilings. Their mineral fibre and metal tile systems dominate office, education, and healthcare ceilings worldwide. We use Armstrong on grid projects where acoustic performance, fire rating, and tile longevity all matter.
-
USG Boral
A joint venture between US Gypsum and Boral, with manufacturing in India. Architects routinely specify USG Boral on high-spec projects where dimensional tolerances are tight and substitution risk is unacceptable.
A note on brands: if any contractor's quote does not specify the brand of board, framing, and screws, ask before signing. The difference shows up within five years.
